The night was merciless.

Dark clouds swallowed the sky while thunder roared violently above the silent city. Rain poured endlessly, drenching the empty streets as if the heavens themselves were mourning tonight.

And at the edge of the bridge stood a girl.

Fragile.

Broken.

Alone.

Her trembling fingers gripped the cold railing while the heavy rain soaked her completely, hiding the tears streaming endlessly down her pale cheeks. Her hollow eyes stared at the dark sky above her.

Was it the rain falling upon her...

Or was God crying over her fate?

A bitter smile touched her lips.

"This is it..." she whispered weakly. "I can't take it anymore."

Her voice cracked painfully.

"Please, Kanha ji... take me with you. I don't want to li..liv..live any..anymore."

Tears rolled hopelessly

The storm raged around her, but the storm inside her heart had already destroyed everything long ago.

"Vi...v..Vihu..." she sobbed softly, clutching her chest as unbearable pain consumed her. "I love you... even if I die, my heart will always belong to you."

Her breathing trembled.

"I...I lo..love you so much.... that even imag...imagining you with someone else tears my heart apart..."

A tear slipped from her eyes.

"But it's...its okay," she whispered brokenly. "I don't ...don't belong in your world. I don't de...d..deserve you... and I don't want a life.. where you are not mine."

She closed her eyes slowly.

"Apki khushi mein hi meri khushi hai... God bless you both."

And with that, her grip on the railing loosened.

Crash!

The sound of shattering glass echoed through the luxurious office cabin as Vihaan Singhania destroyed everything in sight.

Files.

Furniture.

Glass.

Nothing survived the storm inside him.

His chest rose violently while his bloodshot eyes reflected terror, regret, and desperation.

"BETUUUU!" his scream tore through the empty office.

He staggered forward, his hands trembling uncontrollably.

"Please...plea..please come back to me," he begged helplessly. "Please... just give me one ...one chance... bachhe, please..."

His voice broke into shattered pieces.

"C-come back to meeee..."

The next second-

Darkness blurred his vision.

And before he realized it, the world around him went black.
