PROLOGUE -I

dekh rahi hai tere Khush ko, Krishi?" Kriti her best friend teased, nudging her shoulder.

"Banda full-on mission pe hai... duniya ki saari ladkiyon aur saara business apne sar chadhane ka!"

Krisha, who was sitting quietly and applying nail paint, didn't even look up. She simply blew on her freshly painted nails and smiled.

"Jise jo karna hai kare... jo kehna hai kahe," she said casually.

Then she looked around the room with a playful confidence.

"Par yahan baithe sabko pata ... kahan jaiyega woh?"

She paused dramatically, a small laugh escaping her lips.

"Aana mere prannath ko mere paas hi hai."

Before anyone could react, a familiar voice came from behind her.

"Bilkul."

Everyone turned as Khush walked toward them, carrying the same confidence that made everyone notice him.

He reached her, slid his hand around her waist, and pulled her closer.

"Apna jahan chhod ke jaunga kahan?"

The room instantly filled with laughter and teasing.

"Haan haan, humein pata hai," someone from their group replied.

"Jahan Krishi, wahi Khush... aur jahan Khush, wahi krishi."

Everyone laughed louder.

Khush just smiled. Instead of replying, he gently touched his forehead to hers.

"Awwwwww!"

Their friends started cheering, making both of them laugh.

For them, it was always going to be this way.

Khush and Krisha.

(HER KP × HIS ISHA)

A love everyone believed would last forever.

Until destiny decided otherwise.

"ISHAAAAAA!"

His scream echoed through the hospital room.

Khush opened his eyes suddenly, his breath uneven and his heart racing. The moment he gained consciousness, he ripped the IV line from his hand.

The sound of his desperate voice brought everyone rushing into the room.

"Khush!"

His father immediately moved toward him, trying to hold him back.

"Khush, sambhalo please beta..."

But he couldn't hear anything.

His eyes searched the room desperately, as if expecting someone to appear.

"Ishi..."

He tried to stand up.

The moment his feet touched the floor, the world around him turned blurry. Everything became a shade of blue as his weakened body failed to support him.

His balance gave up.

Before he could fall completely, his mother caught him, and both of them sank onto the floor.

"Beta, please... mat karo," she pleaded, tears filling her eyes.

But Khush only looked at her with helplessness.

"Mumma... please mujhe jaane do."

His voice broke.

"My Ishi is crying... woh mujhe bula rahi hai."

His breathing became heavier.

"Mujhe feel ho raha hai, mumma... mera dil keh raha hai woh mujhe bula rahi hai."

Tears rolled down his face.

"My heart is dying, mumma..."

He held onto her hands, begging.

"Please... mujhe uske paas le chalo. Please."

And for the first time, the man who once bel

ieved he could fight the entire world for his love...

was powerless against the pain of losing her.
